The personalities and creators behind The Outdoor Channel’s Renovation Hunters visit Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods for facility tour and interviews.

Canfield, OH: Chris Filardi, Hal Shaffer and Kevin Tarkovich from The Outdoor Channel’s Renovation Hunters visited Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods this past week to tour the facility and get an inside look at how the products featured on the national television show were made. Season one of Renovation Hunters is set to air on The Outdoor Channel in 2023.

Filardi and Shaffer, as part of C’Mon Media, created The Outdoor Channel’s first-ever renovation series, Renovation Hunters, with Shaffer as host and Tarkovich serving as general contractor on the job sites. Baird Brothers partnered with the show, providing quality hardwoods for the remodels and helping out on the three locations across the country: Hyannis, Nebraska; Critz, Virginia; and Tionesta, Pennsylvania. Shaffer adds Renovation Hunters to his hosting belt, already seen on The Outdoor Channel for his show, Drop Zone.

“The decision to partner with Renovation Hunters took less than 36 hours. We saw so many similarities between Baird Brothers, C’mon Media and Renovation Hunters that the partnership just made sense,” said Steve Stack, director of new business development at Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods. “As a third-generation business, we hold family values extremely high, so a show dedicated to renovating spaces for families to spend time together and get outside was something we wanted to be a part of.”

Filardi, Shaffer and Tarkovich visited the fine hardwood shop for two days this week where they filmed facility tours, tool reviews and interview episodes for Baird’s podcast series, American Hardwood Advisor. Footage from the visit will be released on Baird Brothers’ Content Studio.
