Beautiful American Hardwood is Only a Few Clicks Away
Do you live too far away to visit the Baird Brothers’ showroom in Canfield, Ohio? No problem! Do-it-yourselfers, homeowners, remodelers and contractors from Maine to California — and beyond — enjoy the same convenience, availability of superior handcrafted hardwood and service when they order hardwood online. In this Hardwood Advisor, Baird Brothers’ Steve Stack discusses everything you need to know about ordering hardwood on Baird Brothers’ user-friendly and informative website.
Order Hardwood with Confidence
“Whether you’re picking up your order on Crory Road or having your hardwood delivered to wherever you call home, you should expect the same beautiful, high-quality hardwood,” Steve said. For 55 years, Baird Brothers have taken pride in providing customers all over the U.S. with service and handcrafted hardwood that surpasses expectations. “We have generations of repeat customers, both in-store and online.”
Bringing the Baird Brothers Showroom to You
“The practicality of buying hardwood online has never been easier or more convenient,” Steve said.
For example, customers can search for hundreds of moulding profiles, available in a variety of species, unfinished, primed and ready for paint, or prefinished with a traditional natural clear finish or stained and finished.
The customer will then select the length and quantity desired, keeping in mind that unlike framing lumber, which is sold in pre-cut lengths, moulding is sold in random lengths because any knots or visual defects are cut out. Baird Brothers do offer specified lengths, however specified length fees are assessed by wood type (specie).
As the items are added to the cart, the lead-time and shipping costs are calculated based on the length and finish options. When customers enter their U.S. ZIP code or Canadian postal code, shipping costs and the estimated shipment and delivery dates are determined.
“At this point, if all looks well, you’re only a couple steps away from your order being placed,” Steve said.
Free Hardwood Samples
“We’re very generous with our samples,” said Steve, adding that most moulding and flooring samples are 6-inch species-specific pieces, with the finish of choice.

Here’s what one online customer had to say about ordering Baird Brothers’ hardwood online:
I had hesitation about ordering hardwood millwork online but my concerns were put at ease when the box arrived. Not a nick or ding in any piece. The packing job was impeccable. The pieces were bundled together, then surrounded by expanding foam and packed in a cardboard box. Shipping was super reasonable … I don’t normally write reviews but because of the exceptional experience, I felt the need to write this one.
